My dear Friend
I feel as though I must write to you and find out just how sick Roy is. Now be so kind and tell me for I know he will not let on he is very sick for fear I’ll worry now. You can imagine just how we feel and are very anxious to know.
We are very glad he has such good care and feel very much indebted to you and I hope sometime I can repay you in some way. Now if your children should come down with it you will have more than you ought to do and we will make some arrangements and come and take care of Roy.
Write soon if not but a few lines and let us know.
Mrs. Anna Field
P.S. Mrs. Keith you had better hire some one to do your work and we will pay for it so you can take care of Roy or if he needs anything get it and we will make it all right if you could telegraph address to Calvin Rasor Kalamazoo
Anna’s son, Leroy Field. From subsequent letters it appears that Roy was the boyfriend of Cora’s sister, Josephine Meredith
