Mar 28 – Cold. Three girls very busy. Bess here nights. Edith and Hedvig told Lela they were going to look for an other place. Mrs Lueders here this evening. Daisy had a nice heifer calf this morning so Hannah wrote.

Mar 29 – Sarah Berndhardt buried today. Lou came home to night. Had quit his job with the Automobile folks on broadway.

Mar 30 – Very cold. Lou[ise] Klenzie[45] here this P.M.

Mar 31 – Cold. Girls finishing up Easter candy. Martha got her new hat one Alida[?] made her.
